PS7 Loading Dock Gate
These gates are a highly visible warning, particularly suitable around Dock Loading areas where, especially at night, personnel and fork lift truck drivers have been known to mistake the dark opening for floor level.
For ease of operation the gates incorporate a heavy duty gas spring.
What is a Gas Spring?
When you opened the boot of your car, the clever device that stopped it falling onto your head is a Gas Spring. The gates incorporate the same technology on a larger scale.
Ideal for narrow or restricted access where a bulky counterweight can be dispensed with entirely.
When open these gates stand fully vertical, so no encroachment into the access area, reducing the risk of truck collision.
- Single Leaf up to 4 metres.
- Twin Leaf up to 8 metres (2 x Gates)
- Posts surface mounted.
Posts constructed from heavy gauge steel plate with 40 x 40 x 2.5 box section arms.
Powder coated as standard in a choice of colours.
